This is a page to contain the various externals, patches, etc that I have created for Cycling 74's Max/MSP and Ableton's MaxForLive. Feel free to download and use any of the items you see here.

Max Externals

OlaOutput Max External (for Mac OSX) - download

A Max external used to send DMX messages from within Max. OlaOutput relies on OLA for the transmission of messages to your DMX interfaces. OLA (Open Lighting Architecture) is a framework that allows applications to send and receive DMX512, using various hardware devices and 'DMX over IP' protocols. It enables software controllers talk to DMX hardware. Read more about OLA. OlaOutput requires OLA to be installed and configured in order to run. Download the latest mac binaries (.dmg) for OLA here.

OlaOutput is an LGPL open source project. The code is hosted on Google Code at http://code.google.com/p/olaoutput

Update: The DMaX modules for Ableton MaxForLive are being updated to use OlaOutput. If you haven't seen DMaX, check it out!
